The ideal candidate understands the operational challenges, such as late-night roadside emergencies, and can translate these insights into strategic product decisions.

- Participate in sales conversations to gather insights into critical issues and develop a prioritized list of product needs.
- Create comprehensive product specifications with clear scope, acceptance criteria, and customer context suitable for engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineers using technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB to break down specs into actionable tasks.
- Manage the product task board effectively to ensure timely delivery.
- Engage weekly with customers, including fleets, providers, tire dealers, and call centers, to deeply understand their operational workflows.
- Coordinate with integration partners to guarantee alignment with project timelines.
- Report progress and strategies directly to the CEO.
Qualifications and Experience
- Practical industry knowledge in trucking, fleet maintenance, or commercial vehicle services is mandatory.
- Proven background as a Product Manager in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, or platform sectors with actual product delivery experience.
- Expertise in drafting detailed product specs that include data modeling, user flow diagrams, and edge case considerations, fostering respect from engineering teams.
- Adaptability and comfort working in startup environments.
- Ability to hold and revisit strong opinions, providing constructive feedback to executive leadership while remaining receptive to market priorities.
