Product Management Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable Product Management Consultant to be a key contributor within our Finacle Product Management team. This position requires ownership of the design, development, and oversight of payment-related solutions that meet client requirements and foster business expansion. You will collaborate closely with diverse teams in development, design, marketing, and operations, managing the entire product lifecycle from research and definition through launch and ongoing improvement. The role calls for strategic thinking, extensive expertise in payments, and innovation in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a compelling product vision that is in sync with corporate goals and market demands to drive the payments product roadmap.
• Serve as the central point of contact for internal teams, customers, and external partners to coordinate and ensure alignment throughout all product development stages.
• Maintain compliance with banking industry standards such as ISO20022, SEPA, and SWIFT, along with regulatory and reporting mandates.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• More than 4 years of professional experience within banking or payments domains.
• Practical knowledge of payment systems including SWIFT processing, and clearing systems like RTGS, CHAPS, FED, NACHA, along with hub payments and reconciliation processes.
• Experience working within one or more of these geographical markets: India, Philippines, Australia, France, or the UK; having experience in multiple markets is considered a strong plus.
• Prior exposure to Finacle Payments solutions is advantageous.
• Technical understanding of payment standards and procedures, including clearing and settlement operations.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as waterfall and agile.
• Strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication, capable of converting business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process designs.
• Proven capability in facilitating sprint planning, defect review, and user acceptance testing coordination.
• Effective in conducting training and product demonstrations to stakeholders.
