Some international travel may be required.
About the company

The company also serves the food service sector in Ireland and the UK. It is a certified B Corp committed to balancing people, planet and profit, and became part of McCain Foods in April 2024 while continuing to run independently. The team has 60 people from 11 nationalities across Dublin, London and New York, and the organisation says it is committed to diversity and equal opportunity.
What you will do
- Support the full delivery of new product development projects across several categories and international markets.
- Contribute to idea shaping, prototype creation at bench level, and preparation of kitchen samples.
- Help prepare product briefs, development trials and factory sample assessments.
- Work with product, marketing, supply chain and commercial teams to move innovation projects forward.
- Assist with factory trials, product validation work and launch-readiness tasks.
- Carry out benchmarking, competitor analysis and review of food trends.
- Prepare and present products for internal reviews, customer meetings and global business presentations.
- Provide culinary and product support for global events, retail meetings and customer-facing presentations.
- Support the sensory function through sample coordination, sensory preparation and related administration.
- Keep project files, specifications and development records accurate and up to date.
- Develop effective working relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Help ensure products meet quality, technical and regulatory requirements in the relevant markets.
- Manage the full sample process end to end, including organisation, tracking, shipping and coordination with internal and external partners.
What they are looking for
- 2 to 4 years of experience in product development, food innovation or an FMCG environment.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Food Innovation, Culinary Arts or a closely related field.
- Genuine interest in food, innovation and emerging consumer preferences.
- Practical experience with bench development, kitchen trials or food preparation.
- Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage several deadlines at once.
- High attention to detail and a consistent focus on quality.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills for cross-functional work.
- A proactive, practical approach and a willingness to learn.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving business environment.
- Strong project coordination and administration skills.
- Experience presenting products or ideas to internal and external audiences.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and project tracking or documentation tools.
