Product Designer, Global Public Sector

Role overview

We are hiring a bilingual Product Designer to shape simple, intuitive, AI-enabled products for government and enterprise customers across the Middle East. This position is based in Doha, Qatar and is suited to someone who enjoys building from ambiguity, especially in early-stage product work.

The work sits at the intersection of AI, product thinking, and visual communication. You will help create experiences that support important decisions for organizations and public sector teams.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design journey for new products, starting from an early concept and carrying it through to launch in close collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Turn feedback from internal stakeholders and clients into clear design directions and actionable product concepts.
• Handle multiple viewpoints and keep stakeholders aligned on a shared design vision.
• Use strong verbal communication and visual storytelling, including AI tools such as Cursor and Claude Design, to develop and present polished prototypes.
• Ground design choices in research, data, and user insights rather than assumptions alone.

What makes a strong fit

• Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Comfort working in uncertain, fast-moving, early-stage product environments.
• A background that includes both startup-style environments and established companies, with at least one role at a respected organization known for strong product development practices.
• Experience designing B2B products for government or enterprise clients.
• Interest in contributing to how AI is used in modern business workflows.
• Prior experience working in the GCC region, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE.
• Currently based in the GCC or willing to relocate.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted design platforms such as Cursor and Claude.
• A degree in HCI, Computer Science, or Graphic Design.
• A portfolio that shows strong polish, professional presentation, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly to a broad audience.

Preferred extras

• Experience working at well-known AI companies.
• Technical expertise or a technical foundation.
