Where you'll work
Job description
About the role
Pogo is hiring a second Product Designer to help shape the product direction and visual experience for a new consumer insights platform. The product connects brands and retailers with millions of purchase-verified consumers and is expected to serve some of the world’s largest companies.
What you will do
- Own end-to-end product design work for both the new B2B platform and the consumer app, from early concepts through launch and ongoing improvement.
- Create refined, engaging interfaces that inspire trust and bring the value of the company’s data and AI capabilities to the surface.
- Fine-tune the details that make an experience feel polished, including layout, typography, spacing, color, motion, and interaction behavior.
- Contribute to the product roadmap while helping establish the team’s design language, systems, and overall design culture.
- Move quickly in a startup setting where priorities can be unclear and speed matters, while still keeping quality high.
- Work as one of two designers and collaborate closely with engineering and go-to-market teams.
What they are looking for
The ideal candidate has experience designing software products and can work confidently in a fast-moving environment. Backgrounds in startups, enterprise products, or AI-driven interactions are especially valued.
You should be comfortable using Figma efficiently, balancing strong design instincts with practical tradeoffs when needed. A high standard for visual quality, an active habit of studying strong product design, and familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT or Claude are also important.
This role calls for someone who is persistent about finding the best solution, willing to iterate heavily, and able to create products from scratch in partnership with product and engineering teams. Strong product judgment, a preference for clarity and simplicity, and the ability to adapt decisions based on user feedback are key.
Why this role could be a fit
You’ll help build an enterprise product in an early stage, with opportunities to shape decisions using qualitative interviews and direct customer input. Design is highly valued here, so the role offers strong influence and meaningful ownership.
The team is composed of strong product thinkers across functions, feedback cycles are fast, and early employees have real influence over culture, process, and traditions.
Important considerations
- Work can be highly ambiguous, and priorities may change quickly as the team learns from data and users.
- The design team is intentionally small, with limited management overhead and no dedicated user research function.
- In some cases, designs may need to be completed within a single day, with shipping often happening on a weekly cadence.
- The company expects a level of commitment beyond a standard 9-to-5 schedule, though schedules are flexible and time off is encouraged.
- Unlimited paid time off is available, along with a minimum vacation expectation of 20 days each year.
Compensation and equity
The company states that it offers above-market pay together with equity.
