The position operates in a hybrid setup requiring attendance at the Dublin office three days a week.
About the Company and Role
The company develops advanced software for sales and revenue teams to analyze customer interactions, identify opportunities, and enhance decision-making. The Product Design Manager will lead design for a pivotal product area that is widely used globally and has recently become part of the Dublin team. This role emphasizes leadership, organizational development, collaboration, and elevating design quality rather than detailed pixel-level design work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Product Designers.
- Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and overall design leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers.
- Establish and improve design processes, rituals, and best practices.
- Assist with recruitment and team expansion.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality user experiences for complex B2B software.
- Serve as the link connecting design craftsmanship, product strategy, and execution.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing and growing Product Design teams.
- Strong background in product design prior to transitioning into management.
- Experience with complex software products, particularly in B2B SaaS environments.
- Ability to balance leadership duties with hands-on design mentorship.
- Skilled in providing candid feedback and guiding teams through uncertain conditions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Prior collaboration with Product and Engineering departments.
- Deep understanding of UX principles, research methodologies, and modern design practices.
- Proficient in Figma design software.
Additional Advantage
Experience working in rapidly scaling product teams is highly desirable.
