Product Compliance Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Product Compliance Consultant with over 10 years of experience specializing in embedded and IoT product security. This position focuses on compliance with key industry standards such as IEC 62443 series, RED DA, and EN 18031, ensuring our products meet rigorous security and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply comprehensive expertise in embedded and IoT product development spanning architecture, design, implementation, and deployment phases.
• Manage and understand the entire lifecycle of embedded systems and IoT devices.
• Lead security best practices and threat modeling efforts across product teams.
• Implement secure software development lifecycle processes tailored for embedded and IoT products.
• Navigate and ensure compliance with relevant international and regional regulatory frameworks.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong foundational knowledge of embedded software and IoT device security.
• In-depth familiarity with standards IEC 62443-4-1, IEC 62443-4-2, IEC 62443-3-3.
• Experience with consumer IoT security standards like EN 303 645.
• Understanding of RED DA and EN 18031 regulations.
• Competence in handling European adaptation of EN 62443-4-2.
• Knowledge of the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the emerging EN 40000 series.
• Awareness of regional and global security schemes including UK PSTI, NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST, and US Cyber Trust Mark.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in security threat modeling and the execution of security controls.
• Demonstrated capability to promote and integrate security best practices within product teams.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CRA and conformity assessment processes.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
