Role Overview

We are searching for a data-focused Product Analyst to oversee SLA monitoring, provider expansion, and automation efforts. This position manages operational workflows comprehensively, focusing on metrics, tracking, and identifying procedural deviations. The role collaborates closely with product, integrations, and engineering teams to transition from manual processes to scalable automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track SLAs and operational performance across various product workflows, promptly identifying any misses or irregularities.
  • Analyze root causes for performance setbacks and workflow disruptions.
  • Create and sustain actionable reporting tools and dashboards highlighting operational status and bottlenecks.
  • Manage provider and connection lifecycle activities including intake, data mapping, cross-team coordination, parallel run support, and automation handoff.
  • Act as the central coordinator throughout provider expansion stages to ensure seamless process flow.
  • Work closely with various teams (product, integrations, engineering, operations) to shift workflows from manual to automated systems.
  • Effectively communicate progress, risks, and barriers to stakeholders.
  • Drive ambiguous or evolving challenges autonomously, maintaining high-quality execution and prompt completion.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with proven ability to use metrics for identifying and solving operational issues.
  • Experience navigating ambiguous or dynamic processes with incomplete definitions.
  • Proficiency in building and interpreting operational metrics and reports.
  • Experience working with structured data formats like Excel, CSV, and JSON.
  • Ability to manage complex, process-intensive environments with many moving elements.
  • Independent project management skills including setting and meeting deadlines across multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written communication and process documentation abilities.
  • Experience in coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Competence in SQL for data querying, joining datasets, and dashboard creation; preferably more than one year of experience across various datasets.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or scripting.
  • 2 to 4 years in business or product operations, business/data analysis, or similar analytical roles within financial, tech, or fintech companies.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with payroll, HR systems, or retirement programs.
  • Background in technical support, product operations, or business analysis, especially with API-driven or process-intensive products.
  • Experience developing dashboards and metric tracking using tools like Sigma.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Skilled in investigating operational or technical issues through log analysis tools like Datadog.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive equity package with a 10-year exercise period.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage fully paid for employees and 85% coverage for dependents.
  • Unlimited paid time off, with a recommended minimum of three weeks annually.
  • Participation in a 401(k) plan.
  • Regular company team meetups and offsite events.
  • Hybrid work flexibility with a requirement to work onsite at least two days per week at our San Francisco office.

Salary Range

The annual compensation range is between $80,000 and $86,000, reflective of real-time market data and candidate experience. Final offers may vary depending on geography and qualifications.
