Job description

About the role

Qantas is seeking a Product Advisor to join its Group People Digital team in Mascot on a fixed-term, full-time basis through August 2027. This role is focused on improving the digital experience for employees by supporting the performance and enhancement of people-related products and systems.

As part of an organisation committed to delivering modern digital tools, you will act as a knowledgeable support partner for People Digital products and work closely with internal stakeholders across HR Business Partners, People Services, and People Support. The position combines product support, stakeholder coordination, analysis, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for People Digital platforms such as Zendesk, Workday, SmartRecruiters and Whispr.
  • Handle first-line Tier 2 support for system and functionality questions, including logging, assessing, and forwarding matters to Tier 3 where needed.
  • Collaborate with product owners, functional leads, and business stakeholders to carry out analysis and support decision-making.
  • Assist with gathering business requirements, documenting updates, and coordinating stakeholder approvals.
  • Track, assess, and improve digital processes to strengthen efficiency and the employee experience.

What you will bring

You should bring hands-on experience supporting digital products or applications, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different stakeholder groups. A customer-focused mindset, strong communication skills, and comfort working in a fast-moving environment are important for success in this role.

Experience with testing, defect logging, and help desk ticket handling is also valuable. Familiarity with Workday is advantageous, and exposure to HRIS, ATS, or LMS environments is preferred.

Why join Qantas

Qantas offers a supportive environment where creativity, growth, and development are encouraged. You will receive on-the-job training, coaching, and access to formal learning opportunities. The organisation also offers a broad range of employee benefits beyond travel, including:

  • Discounted air travel for you, your family, and friends across Australia and internationally, plus travel and holiday offers.
  • Flexible leave options, including 18 weeks of paid parental leave, superannuation payments on paid and unpaid parental leave until the child turns 1, and additional purchased leave for eligible employees.
  • Access to thousands of rewards and discounts across shopping, food and wine, insurance, health and wellbeing, leisure, and entertainment, plus salary packaging benefits for items such as motor vehicles, eligible portable electronic devices, and professional memberships.
  • Wellbeing support such as mental health resources, an interactive wellbeing app, and tailored nutrition guidance.

Eligibility and application conditions

Applicants must have the right to work in Australia or New Zealand without restriction and without sponsorship. Qantas is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes candidates from all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Support or access needs should be shared at the time of application. Applications close on 22 June 2026.
