Job description

About Teaching Socials

Teaching Socials is a leading consulting firm for personal brands in the German-speaking market. The team has 25 high performers and has scaled from zero to a consistent monthly revenue of more than €750,000 within two years. The company helps founders in real estate and finance build visibility for their personal brand, attract customers more predictably, and grow their businesses.

The role

This position is for someone with a strong production background who can keep a shoot or content production running smoothly from start to finish. Whether your past title was assistant director, production lead, producer, or line producer, the key expectation is the same: you make productions happen. You prepare schedules, callsheets, locations, props, and equipment ahead of time so the set is fully ready before anyone has to ask.

Instead of handling one major production occasionally, you will support a regular, weekly content production system. The creative team brings the ideas; you turn them into a workable, structured, and timely process. Rather than jumping from one project to another, dealing with unpaid prep, or managing unstable shoot plans, you will work with a fixed team, clear systems, and content that is designed to generate real reach and results.

The company is intentionally looking for people from film, TV, advertising, or commercial production because the role requires set discipline, forward planning, and the calm handling of live production pressure that cannot be learned quickly in onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare productions by creating shoot schedules, production plans, and shot lists, sharing scripts, clarifying locations, and arranging props and equipment well in advance.
  • Run the production pipeline for videos and ads so the work moves through a structured process, deadlines are protected, and progress stays visible at all times.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver event-based production such as client testimonials, aftermovies, and on-site capture.
  • Handle supplier, equipment, and crew coordination with proper lead time.
  • Take charge on set by managing the flow, timing, and crew so the shoot stays on track and the founder can focus on performance.
  • Act as the dependable handoff point between content and marketing, replacing ad hoc communication with reliable, scheduled transfers.
  • Maintain full ownership across all active productions so nothing gets overlooked.

Success measures

  • Shoots begin with everything prepared and in place.
  • Videos and ads are published on schedule.
  • Event content is delivered reliably.
  • The founder spends noticeably less time organizing set logistics.
  • The production pipeline becomes predictable instead of chaotic and last-minute.

What the company offers

  • Real responsibility and room to shape the role from day one.
  • A fast-growing company with a clear vision and a strong team.
  • An environment where your content creates genuine reach and tangible outcomes.
  • Flat hierarchy and short communication paths across editing, social, and leadership.
  • Modern equipment, professional processes, and a digital work setup.

Why Teaching Socials

  • Leave project-hopping behind and join a stable team instead of the next uncertain production.
  • Work with predictable workload and organized workflows rather than 16-hour shoot days and weekend uncertainty.
  • Enjoy 100% remote work, with shoot or event presence when needed.
  • Work directly with some of the biggest personal brands in the DACH region and see the impact of your work.
  • Get room for self-development and ownership.
  • Benefit from fast internal implementation of ideas in a young, growth-oriented environment.
  • Receive above-average pay.
  • Grow through development opportunities and shared mission-building.
  • Access investment in skill development.
  • Join 4 team events per year.

Values

Teaching Socials refers to its own manifesto for company values.

Application

Applicants are asked to submit a CV together with relevant production references covering shoots, events, or content pipelines they have been responsible for.

Preferred background

  • Experience in film, TV, advertising, or commercial production, such as production coordination, assistant directing, producing, or line producing.
  • Confident handling of scheduling, callsheets, shoot plans, and crew coordination.
  • Hands-on production experience in the creator or agency environment.
  • Basic understanding of editing for planning purposes, including timing, B-roll cues, and captions.
  • Event production experience.
  • Experience in, or transferable knowledge of, finance or real estate.

Not a fit

  • People who mainly want to direct, operate the camera, edit, or work on strategy.
  • People who work reactively and see chaos on set as normal.
  • Pure project thinkers who only want to jump from shoot to shoot instead of building a structured system.
  • Traditional office managers without production or shoot experience.
  • People who need constant instructions, do not want to take initiative, or are looking only for a job rather than growth.
