Producer (English) - Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Producer (English) to join our Daily Jagran team. This role involves producing, filming, and delivering daily news videos in English tailored for multiple platforms. You will also be responsible for scripting clear and compelling video news stories that connect with an English-speaking audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce daily English news video content across various platforms.
• Write concise and accurate scripts for video news reports.
• Stay updated with breaking news, conduct thorough research, and develop relevant video content.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to storyboard, plan, and execute video segments aligned with news standards and guidelines.
• Assign ground reporting duties during special events as needed.

Skills and Job Knowledge

• Optimize video content for digital platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram to engage the English audience effectively.
• Manage strict deadlines, especially for live and breaking news coverage.
• Adapt content and formats for diverse devices and platforms ensuring optimal video quality.
• Work collaboratively with journalists, editors, reporters, and content creators to maintain editorial consistency.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability, and efficiency in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.
• Prior experience producing digital media content for social platforms.
• Knowledge of broadcast standards, production workflows, and equipment.
