Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Regularly rotate stock and promptly remove any expired produce to guarantee optimal freshness and quality.
- Accurately price and label products, adhering to procedures involving ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, and signage.
- Strictly follow food safety, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain standards including temperature monitoring, proper handling, and compliance with expiration dates.
- Stock and downstock inventory as necessary, apply product protection, and set up displays such as modulars and shelf caps to ensure continuous availability.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
- Remain flexible with work schedules, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.
Challenges
- Manage a heavy workload during fast-paced shifts, including overnight hours while maintaining energy and focus.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs. regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Compensation
The starting pay rate for this role is $18.05 per hour.
