Role Overview

The Procurement Specialist will support centralized procurement activities for standard categories such as Administration and IT, while also partnering with local teams and global procurement stakeholders to improve sourcing, supplier management, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out local centralized procurement work for standard categories, including gathering requirements, managing procurement steps according to group policy, negotiating with suppliers, signing contracts, and completing settlements.
• Guide local colleagues through self-managed procurement workflows, promote group procurement standards, and help refine localized procurement practices by sharing feedback with headquarters.
• Work with global procurement specialists on category strategies and project-based sourcing, including local supplier search, tender management, and coordination of delivery acceptance to confirm quality requirements are met.
• Coordinate procurement-related collaboration across departments by collecting, organizing, and maintaining records and data, while also identifying inefficiencies, risks, and practical improvements to procurement processes.
• Partner with procurement, audit, compliance, and other oversight teams at headquarters, and support supplier lifecycle management such as registration, qualification, evaluation, and phase-out.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher, along with at least 1 year of experience in procurement, commercial operations, or supplier management, plus a foundational understanding of procurement or supplier processes.
• Knowledge of procurement and commercial contract workflows; familiarity with ERP or procurement platforms is an advantage.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once, with project management exposure considered a plus.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, supported by initiative and a habit of learning and consolidating information.
• English proficiency is required; Mandarin fluency is beneficial.

Eligibility

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or above and at least 1 year of relevant procurement, commercial operations, or supplier management experience are encouraged to apply. Strong English communication is expected, and Mandarin capability is an added advantage.
