Procurement Officer - Immediate Joiner

Role overview

Basatin Landscaping SPLLC is looking for a Procurement Officer to join its Abu Dhabi team without delay. The role focuses on managing procurement activities end to end, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers, and ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing support for ongoing operations and tendering needs.

Procurement duties

• Keep organized physical and digital files covering procurement activity, spending, and material usage.
• Process material requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
• Track local purchase orders, reconcile delivery notes with invoices and LPOs, and pass matched documents to accounts.
• Handle supply agreements and communicate purchasing terms with vendors.
• Keep purchasing records current, complete, and properly maintained.
• Coordinate with suppliers and the company store to make sure materials arrive on time and in acceptable condition.
• Request quotations, compare offers, and negotiate for competitive pricing and quick delivery.
• Review supplier performance and follow up on delivery issues.
• Ensure vendors are listed in the organization’s approved supplier register.
• Work with suppliers, site supervisors, and managers to align deliveries with site requirements and schedules.
• Support quotation preparation and pricing activities so tender submissions remain commercially competitive.

Team members are responsible for staying familiar with updates and newly introduced guidelines and for remaining compliant with them.

Information security

• Follow Basatin’s information security policies at all times.
• Understand and carry out individual information security responsibilities.
• Make sure anyone handling sensitive company information has completed security awareness training.
• Know the correct reporting route for a security incident through IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec.
• Do not disable the operating system firewall or antivirus protection.
• Use systems only for authorized purposes and protect account access, permissions, and passwords.
• Accept responsibility for personal user accounts and keep information confidential.

Required profile

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree and bring at least 5 years of relevant experience. The company is seeking someone with strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and preference will be given to applicants who have prior landscape industry experience. Immediate availability is required.
