Role Overview
The Production Assistant will work closely with the Production Supervisor to organize daily production workflows and maintain precise production documentation. This role encompasses preparing panel QR codes and labels, tracking panel movements, managing production records, creating checklists, issuing technical drawings, and ensuring documentation compliance for smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Supervisor in managing daily production and related documentation.
- Create and handle panel QR codes and identification labels.
- Monitor and log inward and outward movements of panels.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of production activity, panel statuses, and material handling.
- Prepare and distribute production checklists to production teams.
- Print and disseminate approved engineering drawings and associated documents to technicians.
- Organize and maintain robust document control and filing systems.
- Ensure production records are up-to-date, well-organized, and accessible.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Stores departments to fulfill documentation requirements.
- Support in compiling production reports and status summaries.
- Adhere to company policies regarding record keeping and document management.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Mandatory Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- Preference given to candidates with at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, panel fabrication, or production environments.
Skills & Competencies
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical control panels and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook software.
- Strong precision and thoroughness in documentation tasks.
- Excellent organization and record management capabilities.
- Capability to collaborate efficiently within team settings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
