The Procurement Excellence team provides strategic leadership, insights, and comprehensive support across Dyson’s global procurement operations to implement next-generation procurement strategies. Our goal is to establish world-class, harmonized, and flawless procurement practices, tools, and processes that propel the Procurement Transformation program and contribute significantly to Dyson's overall business success.

Role Overview

As a vital member of the Procurement Excellence team, you will help develop and embed a high-performance, future-ready procurement culture at Dyson. Your main focus will be to enhance process efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement efforts primarily within indirect procurement, while also supporting specific direct procurement projects.

Your work will bridge process development, digital solutions, and data analytics to empower procurement teams to operate more effectively, transparently, and with better control. You will serve as a catalyst for change, collaborating with procurement and business stakeholders globally to simplify operations, create a unified operating model, and achieve value through digitalization, automation, and emerging AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify priority opportunities for process improvements mainly in indirect procurement and targeted direct categories.
  • Lead structured initiatives to reduce cycle times, avoid costs, and improve productivity, ensuring all projects are tied to tangible value and business impact.
  • Define and standardize end-to-end procurement processes aligned with Dyson’s global operating model, including development and maintenance of process documentation, RACI charts, and governance frameworks.
  • Drive consistent process adoption across regions and categories to facilitate scalability and compliance.
  • Manage a portfolio of process improvement and transformation projects tied to procurement goals, establishing clear business cases, success measures, and value delivery targets.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and outcomes, and report regularly to senior leadership.
  • Identify and implement digitization and automation opportunities such as workflow automation, analytics, and self-service tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and digital teams to enhance procurement platforms like Ariba and P2P systems.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making by utilizing dashboards and advanced analytics tools.
  • Explore and pilot AI use cases in procurement processes, including contract insights, guided buying, and orchestration.
  • Engage with procurement category teams, business units, and functional leaders to co-create solutions and manage change effectively.
  • Lead change management activities to ensure new processes and tools are successfully adopted across the organization.
  • Build strong relationships across regions and functions to align objectives and influence decisions.
  • Communicate clearly the transformation’s progress, benefits, and required actions to stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

  • A university degree is required; a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related area is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in project management, procurement, supply chain, or associated disciplines.
  • Proven success delivering transformation programs and expertise in change management methodologies and driving organizational adoption.
  • Strong analytical abilities alongside effective communication and influencing skills to engage and motivate stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and resilient, comfortable working in a fast-paced, global, and cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in business process mapping and standardization efforts.
  • Familiarity with digital procurement platforms like Ariba, P2P systems, and various analytics tools.
  • Ability to transform complex business requirements into practical, scalable procurement processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, influencing professionals across all seniority levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • A proactive mindset geared toward challenging existing norms and driving continuous improvement.
