Job Overview

The Process Excellence Lead role is focused on championing Lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives primarily at the Vaughan - Woodbridge facility. This position offers strategic leadership through facilitation, coaching, and mentoring to foster operational excellence, with responsibilities extending support to other company sites for process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion workplace safety by proactively identifying and eliminating hazards and promoting 5S principles to maintain an organized and efficient environment.
  • Conduct regular safety and 5S audits ensuring compliance and model exemplary behaviors.
  • Lead operational excellence initiatives including process and value stream mapping and standard operating procedure development.
  • Develop and monitor departmental KPIs and dashboards to measure performance.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and lead Kaizen events and problem-solving workshops.
  • Manage Process Excellence projects from planning through delivery, ensuring risks are mitigated and benefits are realized.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to successfully execute improvement events and standardize methodologies and documentation.
  • Quantify project savings in partnership with finance and project sponsors.
  • Coach project teams and leaders, establishing strong relationships to align Process Excellence initiatives with business goals.
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, tracking, and communication of all Process Excellence activities.
  • Provide cross-site support to Standard sites as needed for continuous improvement efforts.

Candidate Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience within technical or operational settings.
  • Mandatory Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Lean tools and methodologies.
  • Proven capabilities in change leadership and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies.
  • Effective influence and leadership skills across multi-level, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strategic and tactical mindset in approaching business challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers an annual salary range between CAD 80,000 and CAD 105,000, dependent on experience, skills, and location. Benefits for Canadian employees include:
