Overview
IBM India, a leader in IT since 1992 with a vast presence across the country, is seeking a Process Delivery Specialist focused on the Lead to Cash cycle. IBM's extensive portfolio and commitment to excellence make it a premier employer and partner in various industries.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable activities including posting and balancing daily cash applications, journal entry preparation, record filing, and account reconciliations.
- Analyze receivable accounts and conduct audits and investigations related to entries.
- Handle direct debit operations, including instruction processing, rejection management, and Oracle system updates.
- Investigate and resolve unapplied payments ensuring proper allocations.
- Address customer inquiries about payments, refunds, and other accounts receivable topics.
- Consistently meet client-defined Service Level Agreements and timelines.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree mandatory, Master's preferred; graduates in Commerce with 3 to 6 years’ experience in Order to Cash processes and fundamental accounting principles.
- Competency in automating cash applications, improving touchless cash settlements, and simplifying cash handling processes.
- Experience monitoring customer accounts regarding cash applications and achieving key performance metrics.
- Proficient in generating and analyzing reports to support account management.
- Skilled at collaborating with customers, sales, and finance teams to drive process improvements.
- Capability to identify and pursue process improvements with guidance.
Preferred Skills and Qualities
- Proficient user of MS Office and ERP tools.
- Self-driven and capable of working towards assigned objectives independently.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and participate in change management efforts.
- Active participant in knowledge sharing and team meetings.
- Committed to continuous learning through training and professional development.
