Job description
Role Overview
The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board is hiring a probationary full-time System Monitor/Hall Monitor at St. Mary’s High School (SMHS) in Owen Sound, Ontario. This 1.0 FTE position is responsible for overseeing designated areas and spaces in the school and keeping administration informed of concerns or issues.
Work in this role is scheduled to begin on September 2, 2026.
Key Duties
- Build respectful, positive connections with students and staff to support a healthy working environment.
- Encourage and reinforce school rules and expectations.
- Supervise hallways during instructional time.
- Carry out other duties needed to support the day-to-day operation of the school site.
- Adhere to board policies and procedures related to attendance, health, and safety.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school or an equivalent credential.
- Strong organizational skills along with effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
