Role overview
Tikehau Capital is a global alternative asset manager with €52.8bn in assets under management. Its Private Equity business manages about €8bn in AuM and plays an important role in the firm’s expansion through distinct investment approaches in Europe and other international markets.
The UK Private Equity team focuses on backing mid-market companies across three priority areas: Energy Transition, Aerospace & Defence, and Regenerative Agriculture.
What you will do
You will contribute across the investment lifecycle, supporting deal execution, sourcing, and portfolio work.
- Assist with due diligence, market research, company analysis, and financial modelling.
- Help draft investment memoranda and materials for investment committee discussions.
- Support market mapping efforts to identify and evaluate potential opportunities.
- Review incoming prospects and join discussions with advisors, founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams.
- Track portfolio company performance and support initiatives aimed at creating value.
What the team is looking for
The preferred candidate is adaptable, energetic, and able to communicate clearly while working with strong attention to analysis.
- You are currently studying for, or already hold, a degree from a business school or university, ideally with a focus on Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Prior internship exposure in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting is welcomed, though it is not mandatory.
- You are comfortable using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- You have experience carrying out financial analysis and understand core accounting concepts.
