Job overview
Atlantic Group is seeking a Private Equity Associate focused on healthcare investments for a role based in Montgomery County, PA. The position sits across the investment lifecycle and involves sourcing opportunities, executing transactions, supporting acquisitions, performing due diligence, and helping oversee portfolio companies. The role also contributes to value creation efforts and requires experience in private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory, ideally with exposure to healthcare.
Compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 per year plus bonus.
Schedule: Monday through Friday; hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Assess healthcare-related investment opportunities through financial review, valuation work, market study, and operational due diligence.
- Develop and update detailed operating models, return analyses, valuation tools, and transaction underwriting materials.
- Support acquisition activity, due diligence workflows, investment committee materials, and overall transaction execution.
- Help monitor portfolio companies, analyze performance, support strategic initiatives, and coordinate with executive leadership teams.
- Prepare investment memos, valuation outputs, investor-facing communications, and presentation decks for internal and external audiences.
- Research the healthcare market, evaluate competitors, and analyze industry trends to surface opportunities and guide decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a similar discipline.
- Prior exposure to the healthcare sector, including healthcare services, healthcare technology, provider organizations, life sciences, or adjacent healthcare segments.
- Strong capability in financial modeling, valuation analysis, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and investment presentation creation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail, strong intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-moving investment setting.
