Role Overview

Join the esteemed HM Prison and Probation Service at HMP Isle of Wight as an Operational Support Grade (OSG). This position plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of a busy correctional facility. The job involves a combination of administrative tasks and physical duties such as security checks, managing deliveries, visitor supervision, and monitoring communications and CCTV.

Key Duties

• Conduct security procedures and searches at prison entrances.
• Oversee the receipt and management of deliveries.
• Supervise visitor access and interactions.
• Monitor telephone calls and CCTV systems to maintain safety.
• Perform driving assignments across prison grounds, requiring a valid UK driving licence.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of A329,432.
• Starting annual leave of 25 days, increasing to 30 days after 10 years of service, pro-rata.
