Overview
Amazon's Global Specialty Recruiting (GSR) team specializes in recruiting exceptional talent for complex and challenging roles in scientific, design, academic, and executive technology and non-technology domains worldwide. This specialized group consists of recruiters, researchers, recruiting coordinators, and supporting staff including program management, business analysts, and administrative personnel who bolster operations, process management, policy, systems, training, communication, change management, data, and analytics. GSR collaborates closely with business leaders and partners across PXT, Legal, Finance, and Security.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with research teams and conduct independent research to discover and engage candidates that support Amazon's innovation and expansion goals.
- Design and implement creative and comprehensive search strategies to identify top leadership talent tailored to timing and role requirements.
- Innovate and improve Amazon’s engagement with senior-level scientific professionals.
- Contribute to the collective expertise of the recruiting team by sharing industry insights and talent trends.
- Develop and maintain scientific talent networks in technology and academic sectors by tapping into knowledgeable sources and maintaining evergreen candidate lists.
- Own and nurture strong relationships with business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and offering strategic guidance collaboratively with executive hiring managers and their teams.
- Lead candidate engagement processes including informational calls, screening, interviews, and reference checks while actively participating in hiring decisions through the candidate life cycle.
Professional Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience recruiting at the executive level in corporate or search firm environments, with a technical focus.
- At least 5 years experience advising and influencing executive and leadership teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.

The base annual salary range for this role in New York, USA is $187,000 to $252,900 USD. Compensation includes sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs).
