Job description

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced hands-on leader specialized in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TM) to spearhead the logistics and warehouse management stream within a global S/4HANA transformation project. The candidate should possess extensive operational knowledge covering warehouse execution, transportation oversight, 3PL integrations, and multi-region supply chain operations spanning North America, EMEA, LATAM, Brazil, and APAC regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive SAP EWM and TM solution architecture, configuration, and rollout phases.
  • Architect warehouse frameworks including putaway and picking methods, FEFO protocols, cross-docking techniques, wave scheduling, yard control, and inventory operations.
  • Manage transportation-related functions such as planning, tendering to carriers, freight fulfillment, settlement, and multi-modal transport across road, ocean, and air.
  • Develop and implement EDI and non-EDI models to integrate with third-party logistics providers.
  • Conduct workshops for process structuring, perform warehouse evaluations, lead fit-gap analyses, and coordinate reviews with executive stakeholders.
  • Drive initiatives to improve on-time in-full (OTIF) performance, optimize freight expenses, increase inventory accuracy, enhance warehouse efficiencies, and streamline logistics network operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse management, and transportation disciplines.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with SAP EWM and TM implementation projects.
  • Proven track record leading global S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
  • Extensive expertise delivering multi-regional transportation management deployments and multiple full-cycle EWM implementations.
  • Industry experience in consumer packaged goods, beverage, manufacturing, or distribution sectors is highly desirable.
  • Capability to engage effectively with warehouse personnel, logistics teams, and senior management stakeholders.
