Its offerings include emergency medicine, general medicine and surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and maternity care, gynaecology, paediatrics, coronary and high dependency care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology, and various additional specialist and community services including mental health and substance use support, oral health, physiotherapy, dietetics, speech pathology, outreach and primary healthcare programs, and an expanded West Wing for medical, surgical, and private specialist services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality surgical care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments under senior supervision.
- Assess patients, plan investigations, and develop appropriate management plans.
- Participate actively in ward rounds, clinical reviews, and discharge strategies.
- Ensure thorough and prompt medical documentation of patient care.
- Mentor and oversee junior medical staff and students.
- Contribute to after-hours and weekend duty rosters.
- Engage in teaching sessions, case presentations, and ongoing medical education.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Possession of MBBS or an equivalent degree, with eligibility for Medical Board of Australia registration.
- Current registration with AHPRA required.

- Strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Interest in teaching and continual professional growth.
