Role Overview

As a Deli Clerk, you'll perform the full spectrum of duties professionally, responsibly, and promptly. Your role is to deliver outstanding customer service, foster loyalty, fulfill customer demands, and contribute positively to both employee and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all food safety protocols, standard operating procedures, health and safety regulations, corporate policies, and initiatives.
• Provide exceptional customer service addressing customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable work area.
• Process customer orders accurately for deli products.
• Execute merchandising programs and product displays.
• Prepare and handle various deli items professionally.
• Boost store sales through active product promotion.
• Assist in training junior staff members.
• Order and receive stock according to inventory control procedures.
• Manage and report departmental shrinkage.
• Ensure a safe and sanitary working environment as per company standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications

• Capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work early shifts starting at 5:00 AM.
