About the role

Cxstomer is looking for a Pre-Sales Inbound Phone Agent to support a family technology client that provides digital safety tools for parents. The product range includes mobile phone protection, watches, and home internet monitoring devices designed to help families keep children safer online.

In this position, you will be the first person parents speak with as they compare options and decide what best suits their household. The role centers on active listening, understanding each family’s needs, and helping them feel confident in their choice.

This is a phone-led role, with most of the shift spent handling live inbound calls from parents who are actively considering different products. You will need to build trust quickly, ask relevant questions, and explain the differences between products in clear, non-technical language.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls from parents who are researching or weighing product options
  • Use probing questions to learn about the family’s situation, including children’s ages, the devices they use, and their main concerns
  • Explain the differences between product tiers in a simple and easy-to-understand way so parents can make the right selection
  • Address objections with tact, empathy, and correct information
  • Record the result of each call accurately after the conversation ends
  • Send technical questions or unusual cases to the right internal team
  • Work toward or beyond daily goals for call quality and conversion

What we are looking for

  • Excellent spoken English and a confident, professional telephone manner
  • Background in customer-facing phone sales, pre-sales, or consultative support
  • A warm, patient approach when speaking with parents who are making important decisions for their children
  • The ability to break down product information clearly without sacrificing accuracy
  • A dependable internet connection and a quiet, professional home workspace
  • Availability to complete the full training schedule starting July 20, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, for 3 weeks
  • Ability to work the post-training shift options: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday, EST

Nice to have

  • Previous experience with a SaaS, EdTech, telecom, or family technology product
  • Experience as a parent or caretaker of children
  • Understanding of child online safety ideas or parental control solutions

Additional information

This position is based in Jamaica and is part-time. The work setup is onsite.

Training begins on July 20 and runs for 3 weeks. Training is scheduled for Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. After training, available shifts are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM EST, Monday through Friday.
