Job description

Job Purpose

This position focuses on steering pre-sales and bidding efforts for strategically important opportunities. The role involves assessing opportunities, reviewing RfP/RfQ documents, and making go/no-go recommendations in line with business priorities. It also covers preparing and delivering strong technical and commercial proposals, including solution design and BoQs, while working closely with internal teams to produce compliant and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full pre-sales and bid cycle for critical opportunities, from opportunity screening and RfP/RfQ review through to go/no-go decisions aligned with strategic goals.
  • Own the preparation of technical and commercial submissions, including solution architecture, BoQs, and supporting bid documents, in partnership with relevant internal functions.
  • Make sure bids are completed on time and submitted with strong quality, full compliance, competitiveness, and adherence to governance, customer needs, and approval workflows.
  • Work with account teams to spot new bidding opportunities and contribute to account planning as well as sales strategy execution.
  • Bring together inputs from Technology, Sales, Legal, Regulatory, and Operations to keep all bid deliverables aligned end to end.
  • Spot potential risks during the presales and bidding process, evaluate their impact, and take steps to reduce them and improve the chances of winning.
  • Create and update bid content libraries, templates, and reusable materials to raise efficiency and keep proposal development consistent.
  • Review bid outcomes after submission, including win/loss analysis, to improve future bidding approach, proposal quality, and overall success rate.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a similar discipline is required.

Experience

The preferred background is 3 to 6 years of experience, or an equivalent level of expertise in the same area.
