Job description
Overview
We are looking for an experienced civil and roadworks worker for assignments in Germany, including Würzburg, Fehmarn, Magdeburg and Kiel. The role is intended for someone who values stable employment, clear terms, and organised support with formalities and logistics when working abroad.
The contract is arranged under German employment conditions, with a strong focus on legality, insurance coverage, and straightforward cooperation. This position is in the construction sector.
Compensation and working conditions
- Estimated take-home pay is around €3,000 net per month for full-time work.
- The base hourly wage is €14.00 gross, plus allowances and travel-related additions for reaching the project site.
- Advances of €200 are paid automatically every Thursday.
- Accommodation is provided free of charge by the employer.
- Each worker receives an employment contract under foreign/German terms, full health insurance, and official registration in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Carry out road construction, road repair and related infrastructure works.
- Perform earthworks and water and sewage installation tasks.
- Prepare and level ground for asphalt surfaces and paving work.
- Lay paving stones, kerbs and edging elements.
- Handle sub-base work and prepare surfaces for finishing layers.
- Use basic construction tools and equipment.
- Work together with the team on ongoing road and paving projects.
- Keep the construction site tidy and follow occupational health and safety rules.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as an earthworks or roadworks worker.
- Communicative German or English skills.
- Own car is required for commuting to the project.
- Own work clothing and basic tools are necessary.
