Role Importance & Summary

This key role involves managing and delivering comprehensive retail postal services including courier parcels, postal boxes, money transfers, and call-in parcel services. The goal is to optimize departmental revenue while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example to uphold the company’s core values among Post Office employees.
• Participate in interviewing candidates and recommend final hires.
• Ensure Post Office cashiers adhere strictly to store policies and standards.
• Provide full training, ongoing support, and coaching to team members.
• Assist in performance evaluations of cashier staff together with the Store Manager.
• Guarantee exceptional customer service delivery exceeding expectations.
• Ensure all team members maintain the appropriate professional appearance per uniform guidelines.
• Implement all loss prevention procedures and parcel check protocols consistently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Independent and sound judgment in addressing customer needs and requests.
• Decision-making ability by applying thoughtful questioning to find accurate solutions.

• Experience in retail settings with cash handling responsibilities.

Compensation

The pay rate for this role ranges between 19 and 20 Canadian dollars per hour, depending on experience and location.
