Role Summary
The Porter plays a vital role in complementing quality repairs by preparing customer vehicles through cleaning and maintenance tasks prior to delivery. Additionally, the Porter maintains the appearance and tidiness of the shop and office areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistent adherence to the WOW (Wow Operating Way) operational plan.
- Daily housekeeping of the office interior, including trash removal, floor cleaning, and dusting surfaces and work areas.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the production area by emptying waste containers, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and organizing tools and equipment.
- Upkeep of parking lots and grounds, including snow removal from sidewalks when necessary.
- Pre-washing customer vehicles before repair work commences.
- Cleaning both the exterior and interior of customer vehicles once repairs are finalized.
- Transporting customer vehicles to outsourced repair locations as required.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Automotive experience is desirable but not mandatory.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently.
- Clear close vision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service mindset.
- Positive and reliable attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as pulling, pushing, carrying, walking more than 5 miles, sitting, standing for longer than 5 minutes, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling for short periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working near moving mechanical parts.

- Hourly wage starting at $22.50, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
