About the role
Alignerr works with leading AI research groups and labs to help develop and train advanced AI systems. This position is for a Population Health Informaticist who can contribute domain knowledge to healthcare data projects, public health analysis, and population-level intelligence tasks.
Your background in health informatics will help shape how AI tools interpret, evaluate, and explain population health information, with the goal of improving support for communities and decision-makers.

What you will do
- Gather, combine, and review population health indicators to spot trends, inequalities, and opportunities to improve outcomes across communities.
- Check AI-produced health data analyses for correctness, clinical usefulness, and sound methodology.
- Create and assess dashboards, data workflows, and reporting structures that help with monitoring, surveillance, and decision-making in population health programs.
- Convert analytical findings into practical recommendations and give organized feedback on AI-generated outputs.
- Use your subject matter expertise to make sure AI-created public health content aligns with real-world standards.
Profile
- Hands-on experience with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets.
- Strong analytical ability and data visualization experience, including dashboards and reporting tools.
- Skilled at turning complex information into clear, practical insights for different audiences.
- Comfortable working on your own in an asynchronous setup and attentive to detail.
- Educational or professional background in public health, health informatics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a closely related area.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to data annotation, data quality checks, or evaluation frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows in healthcare settings.
- Experience using Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, or SQL.
- Understanding of health equity models and social determinants of health.
