About the Role
Join a leading global technology company dedicated to building reliable digital products and services as a Policy Specialist. This contract-based position focuses on crafting, executing, and refining product policies to enhance user trust, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, launch, and enforce comprehensive product policies and guidelines spanning various business units.
- Take charge of policy-related projects from conception to final deployment, ensuring cross-team collaboration and seamless execution.
- Develop and uphold international product policies while considering regional legal requirements, cultural nuances, and community expectations.
- Collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to architect and apply policy frameworks across diverse product lines.
- Handle investigations and address external queries connected to policy enforcement and user concerns.
- Spot potential policy risks early, evaluate their impact on business and users, and propose effective mitigation measures.
- Review enforcement operations analytically to detect prospects for enhancing review quality, operational workflows, and policy effectiveness.
- Employ data analytics and predictive modeling to inform policy decisions and boost enforcement outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ experience in Policy, Trust & Safety, Legal, Compliance, or Technology roles.
- Fluency in English is essential; additionally, professional proficiency in Hindi is required for frequent direct communication with Hindi-speaking partners, vendors, and stakeholders in India, especially related to policy execution, investigations, and problem resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of policy creation, application, and governance procedures.
- Experience navigating regulatory frameworks and interpreting policy documents.
- Advanced skills in data analysis and modeling to draw actionable insights.
- Proven ability to manage urgent issues and handle crisis scenarios effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of community standards, online safety protocols, and user trust concepts.
Contract Details
This is a contract hire position with the term concluding on 6 September 2027. The role is based onsite in Singapore.
