Overview
We are looking for a highly organized PMO Specialist with a strong commercial mindset to manage the comprehensive governance of legal contracts, operational projects, and cross-departmental initiatives within a global firm. This role demands coordination among Legal, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, Sales, HR, and Operations teams to ensure contract management efficiency, timely approvals, compliance tracking, and project delivery.
Key Duties
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of commercial and legal agreements including drafting, reviewing, approving, executing, renewing, and terminating contracts.
- Maintain a centralized repository for contract document management while ensuring version control and audit preparedness.
- Monitor contractual milestones, compliance, renewals, and notice periods rigorously.
- Manage strategic project coordination across Legal and Operations teams, including milestone tracking, risk management, conducting governance meetings, and maintaining project documentation.
- Facilitate and enhance cross-functional operational processes involving Legal, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, and HR to improve workflow efficiency and approval methods.
- Serve as the primary contact between internal stakeholders and external legal consultants, coordinating leadership approvals and addressing contract-related inquiries promptly.
- Generate regular PMO reports with key performance indicators on contract processing and project performance, and support audit processes.
- Identify and implement process automation opportunities in contract and approval workflows, enhance document management best practices, and contribute to digital transformation efforts in Legal Operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Project Management, Operations, or related disciplines.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in PMO, Legal or Commercial Operations, Contract Management, or Project Management.
- Proven expertise handling a large volume of commercial contracts and understanding contract lifecycle management.
- Capability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across multinational businesses.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Background in telecommunications, technology, fintech, or large multinational corporations.
- Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software platforms.
- Knowledge of procurement, vendor management, corporate governance, and compliance standards.
- Professional project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint, and Jira.
