Role Overview
We are seeking a Program Manager to join our Westport team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role entails delivering technical support and managing programs for pivotal operations and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects across the site. Utilizing best practice Program Management techniques, the candidate will ensure project schedules are met accurately, consistently supporting program delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess activities, timelines, and resources required for new product development.
- Create and maintain detailed program tracking tools while holding cross-functional teams accountable for milestone achievement.
- Assist teams in executing strategies for development and clinical supply of new products.
- Determine financial resource needs for major programs.
- Support supplier selection, technology transfers, capital expansions, regulatory filings, and production of launch supplies.
- Identify and manage significant continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comply with and promote all Environment, Health, Safety & Environmental Standards, procedures, and policies.
- Provide timely updates to Site Programme Manager, Site Leadership, and IME management regarding project timelines and progress.
- Coordinate multiple cross-functional resources without direct reports.
- Offer cross-training and guidance on project management practices.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline such as engineering, science, or technology is preferred.
- Formal project management certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, or process/product development.
- Proven experience in project planning and execution.
- Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence various departments and peers at both site and global levels.
