Role and Responsibilities
- Write and maintain robust automation scripts using Java and JavaScript (ES6+), with additional advantage for experience in TypeScript and Node.js especially with Playwright framework.
- Utilize advanced expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright to automate UI testing processes efficiently.
- Employ strong knowledge of TestNG features such as annotations, DataProviders, managing parallel test executions, and using listeners effectively.
- Apply comprehensive understanding of test design methodologies like boundary value analysis and equivalence partitioning for creating effective test cases.
- Develop and support scalable automation frameworks tailored to project requirements.
- Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Manage version control proficiently using Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and performing code reviews.
- Participate actively within Agile and Scrum teams, leveraging JIRA for task planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Conduct cross-browser testing and manage different testing environments to ensure software quality.
- Use build and package management tools like Maven or Gradle for Java projects and npm or yarn for JavaScript projects to streamline development processes.
- Communicate effectively, document thoroughly, and collaborate well within teams to achieve project goals.
