Planning Engineer - Site Operations

About the Role

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for establishing realistic and achievable contract durations to support the Management, Proposal Manager, and Estimation Department. This role requires defining comprehensive Project Breakdown Structures and developing the overall project schedule in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures, planning guidelines, and contractual agreements to produce the baseline project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Create project schedules that facilitate the client approval process for baseline plans, progress claims, and milestone achievements.
• Enhance team awareness of project milestones, critical durations, and paths critical to project success.
• Monitor project progress to identify delays promptly and recommend corrective measures.
• Quantify delays attributed to changes or claims, preparing Extension of Time analyses when client-caused delays occur.
• Deliver project feedback and lessons learned to improve planning and scheduling methodologies, contributing to departmental statistics.
• Manage the Planning Scheduling team technically and act as the single point of accountability for planning activities on the project.
• Identify concerns proactively and provide solutions to enable timely and successful project completion.
• Oversee the operational management of the project Planning Team.
