Job description

Role overview

Inspiria Knowledge Campus is seeking a Placement and Corporate Relations Officer to lead employer outreach, support student job placements, and build long-term industry partnerships. The position needs a commercially minded professional who can grow recruiter networks, promote institutional initiatives such as EDPs and MDPs, and contribute to stronger placement outcomes for BBA and MBA students.

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in corporate sales, staffing solutions, placement coordination, or HR recruitment, along with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and manage multiple placement-related activities.

Placement and internship coordination

  • Create and execute placement plans that reflect market demand as well as student career goals.
  • Coordinate summer internships (SIP), live projects, and final placements for BBA and MBA learners.
  • Work with department heads and faculty members to understand student capabilities and align them with employer expectations.
  • Maintain an updated database covering recruiters, alumni, and placement outcomes.

Corporate relationship building

  • Identify, connect with, and onboard new employers from sectors such as consulting, BFSI, FMCG, IT, logistics, real estate, and startups.
  • Strengthen ties with existing recruiters to encourage repeat hiring.
  • Support industry-academia collaboration through MoUs, case competitions, research tie-ups, and advisory boards.
  • Plan and host CXO sessions, guest lectures, panel discussions, and industry conclaves to increase campus-industry engagement.

Training and student career support

  • Partner with faculty and external trainers to run employability programs focused on resume writing, GD/PI preparation, aptitude, and domain knowledge.
  • Conduct mock interviews and group discussions that closely mirror real hiring rounds.
  • Guide students on career choices, interview preparation, and employer expectations.
  • Use recruiter feedback to refine training content and delivery.

Reporting and compliance

  • Keep detailed and accurate records of placements, internships, and offers by sector, role, salary, and other relevant parameters.
  • Prepare annual placement reports, recruiter-facing brochures, student placement booklets, and alumni success stories.
  • Ensure processes remain aligned with institutional and regulatory requirements, including AICTE, NBA, and NAAC norms.

Additional requirements

This role requires a strong networking mindset, confidence in negotiation, and the ability to manage events and multiple stakeholders efficiently. Familiarity with MS Office, CRM tools, LinkedIn, and job portals is important. The position also calls for a sound understanding of industries that recruit MBA and BBA graduates.

Compensation

The offered compensation is INR 5,00,000 to 8,00,000 per year.

Eligibility

Applicants must be graduates. A preferred academic background is MBA or PGDM in HR, Marketing, or General Management from a reputed institute. Experience of 5 years or more in placement coordination, corporate relations, or HR recruitment is expected, preferably from an academic institution or a corporate learning-and-development environment.
