Piping Supervisor / Foreman – Oil & Gas

Role Overview

A construction project in the oil and gas sector is looking for an experienced Piping Supervisor / Foreman to oversee site piping works and keep installation activities on track.

Qualifications and Core Knowledge

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline, is required.
• The ideal candidate should have solid practical knowledge of piping installation, fabrication, and maintenance.
• Experience reading and working from piping isometrics, technical drawings, and project specifications is important.
• A good grasp of HSE requirements and day-to-day site safety practices is expected.
• The role calls for someone who can guide teams and manage site operations effectively.
• At least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee piping installation, fabrication, and testing work at the site.
• Make sure all activities follow approved drawings and project specifications.
• Work closely with engineers, subcontractors, and other site teams to keep operations coordinated.
• Track crew output and help ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Maintain strong adherence to safety rules and quality requirements.
• Carry out site checks and address technical issues as they arise.
• Handle materials, tools, and manpower in an organized and efficient way.
• Draft daily progress reports and provide regular updates.
