Role Overview

We invite a motivated Physiotherapist to join our expanding team in Launceston, offering a varied and rewarding patient caseload. This position involves working within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on delivering high-quality physiotherapy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments and treatments.
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation programs.
  • Deliver neurological rehabilitation therapies.
  • Provide physiotherapy services related to disability and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • Implement interventions aimed at improving functional capacity and promoting independence.
  • Offer care in community settings, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.
  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans for clients.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with reporting standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, speech pathologists, exercise physiologists, behavior support practitioners, dietitians, and podiatrists.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Hold current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate commitment to evidence-based clinical practices.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Able to obtain Working With Children Check and National Police Check or already hold them.
