About the Photo & AV Studio team
The Photo & AV Studio group is part of the marketing function and operates at the intersection of visual content production and global communication strategy. The team creates photo and video assets that strengthen title campaigns for series, films, and documentaries, helping shape content that encourages audiences to watch.
About the role
This London-based role is ideal for an experienced creative storyteller with a background in photography and audio-visual production. It calls for excellent coordination skills, strong creative judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders at once. The position works closely with cross-functional partners across social, marketing, publicity, product, and other teams to deliver high-quality photo and AV output for productions and campaigns.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailored photo and AV shoots that involve multiple functions, taking them from concept development through execution and final delivery.
- Create and implement UK-specific plans for each title or project to capture, produce, and apply creative material across the full campaign lifecycle.
- Lead photography and AV creative across a portfolio of projects, including series, films, and documentaries.
- Maintain regular communication with internal UK teams in marketing, social, and publicity, as well as external collaborators such as showrunners, filmmakers, talent, and representatives.
- Recruit and coordinate unit photographers and video crews, including review of scripts and schedules and ongoing communication with production teams.
- Coordinate external service providers such as stylists, hair and makeup professionals, and similar vendors.
- Handle partner agreements and necessary permissions.
- Support asset management and distribution of materials.
- Oversee title budgets.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in visual asset production or creation, publishing, marketing, publicity, and/or entertainment.
- Strong organisational ability, efficient time management, and the capacity to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and speaking with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A well-developed creative eye and a strong grasp of visual storytelling for audience-focused communication.
- The ability to work independently, make well-reasoned decisions, think strategically, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prior experience working with television or film productions, talent, and filmmakers.
- Working knowledge of copyright considerations, usage permissions, and embargo requirements.
- Good understanding of the photography and video industries, along with established industry connections.
- Solid knowledge of digital creative asset formats and asset management practices.
- Advanced familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Pro, is preferred.
