Position Overview
- This DFG-funded PhD role aims to explore basophil-regulated pathways that influence allergic lung inflammation following skin sensitization, building on Choi et al. (2026) Allergy 81:220-233.
- The research will utilize an array of advanced techniques.
- Engagement with complex mouse models is a key component.
- The project focuses on elucidating the mechanisms by which allergic inflammation propagates from skin to lung.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree in immunology or a closely related discipline.
- Strong foundation in cellular and molecular biology.
