Key Responsibilities
- Provide detailed scientific information and education to physicians and healthcare professionals, particularly key opinion leaders (KOLs), on the science behind new drugs, medical devices, and related disease/therapy areas.
- Deliver non-promotional medical, scientific, and educational support by presenting clinical data, developing and implementing medical educational initiatives, and supporting research and development activities in Germany.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with leading experts in oncology to encourage scientific dialogue that benefits clinicians and patients, while raising awareness and understanding of the product and therapeutic area.
- Monitor therapy trends and other developments in the therapeutic environment, communicate insights to relevant internal teams, and act as a scientific resource for the sales force.
- Represent the company at conferences and organize appropriate training programs for stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence of all activities to local laws, regulations, and national codes.
Qualifications
- Completed medical or natural sciences degree, ideally with a doctoral degree (PhD), combined with substantive professional experience as a Medical Science Liaison Manager in the life sciences industry.
- Experience in clinical research, preferably in oncology or hematology, with the ability to analyze and disseminate scientific literature.
- Proven background in engaging with opinion leaders and building networks between clients and institutions, such as scientific societies and associations.
- Competence in project management and the design and moderation of medical and scientific events.
- Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, teamwork ability, confident demeanor, willingness to travel, and fluent command of English.
