About the Position
As a Pharmacy Dispenser at our Cambridge Milton Superstore, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and medications in a friendly, professional manner. You'll be part of a supportive team, gaining new expertise and helping our customers with their health needs in a dynamic retail environment. Work Schedule and Availability
We offer a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, with some contracts available from 12 hours. Your shifts will be scheduled within these availability windows (at least three weeks' notice will be provided):
- Sunday: 10:00 - 16:00
- Thursday: 16:00 - 20:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
- Saturday: 10:00 - 16:00

Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Dispense prescription medicines accurately while prioritizing patient care and attention to detail.
- Offer approachable, knowledgeable advice to customers regarding medicines, typical ailments, and pharmacy services.
- Assess customer needs and responsibly recommend appropriate products.
- Address customers' queries within your expertise, and escalate to a pharmacist as necessary.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company procedures.
- Complete prescription administration precisely and on schedule.
- Assist in promoting new initiatives and pharmacy campaigns in-store.
Required Experience and Qualities
- Experience or professional qualifications gained in a pharmacy setting.
- Motivation and willingness to further develop within the pharmacy sector.
- Commitment to exceptional customer service—greeting customers warmly and helping them select suitable products and solutions.
- Ability to create a supportive, reassuring environment for customers at the pharmacy counter.
- Proactive decision-making skills to effectively support and advise customers.
