Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacology Specialist to join our client's team on a contract basis, working fully remotely from any location. The specialist will analyze and evaluate pharmacological data essential for progressing drug development and regulatory submissions. Key duties include collaboration with cross-functional teams and contributing to clinical trial design and drug safety assessments in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive literature reviews and assess preclinical studies to understand drug mechanisms of action.
- Interpret pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data to guide dosing protocols and therapeutic effectiveness.
- Create and enhance pharmacological models predicting drug interactions and potential adverse reactions.
- Prepare, critique, and manage regulatory paperwork such as investigator brochures and clinical trial protocols.
- Offer expert advice on pharmacological safety and efficacy to support regulatory approval submissions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least five years of experience working in pharmacology research or drug development environments.
- Skilled in using statistical analysis software and modeling tools for pharmacological data interpretation.
- Thorough knowledge of FDA and EMA regulations pertinent to drug approval processes.
- Proven ability to write technical reports and contribute to peer-reviewed scientific publications.
- Capacity to distill complex scientific data into clear, actionable insights for clinical teams.
