Pet Care Customer Experience Specialist

About the Role

At Beds-N-Biscuits, our Customer Experience Specialists are not just receptionists but the welcoming face and reassuring voice that pet parents first encounter. This position involves creating a warm, personal atmosphere for every visitor and maintaining a smooth and efficient customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet pet parents and manage check-ins and check-outs for daycare, lodging, grooming, and training sessions.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and clearly communicate service details, package options, and recommendations.
• Answer customer inquiries and assist families in selecting services tailored to their pets' needs.
• Serve as backup for incoming phone calls, handling them with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Develop strong connections with regular guests by remembering their names, pets, and preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front lobby throughout the day.
• Assist customers with retail product selections and provide personalized recommendations.
• Process payments accurately and keep detailed customer records up to date.
• Support daily operations by folding laundry and collaborating closely with pet care, grooming, and training teams to ensure seamless service.
• Offer help wherever needed to ensure every pet parent has a positive experience.

Experience and Training

Preferred candidates have backgrounds in customer service, reception, hospitality, veterinary services, kennel work, retail, or administrative roles. However, strong enthusiasm, a positive outlook, and a heartfelt passion for helping pets and their families can compensate for direct experience, as training will be provided.
