About the Role

Silversea, a leader in ultra-luxury cruise travel known for its all-suite ships, all-inclusive pricing, and exceptional hospitality, seeks a Personal Consultant. This role involves actively selling Silversea cruises and related shore-side products primarily through outbound calls, while prioritizing a highly personalized luxury customer experience. Candidates will work to build and sustain long-term customer relationships, supporting the company’s global sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in outbound calls and other communication methods such as email and inbound contacts to sell Silversea cruises and shore-side offerings.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure high satisfaction and cultivate long-term customer loyalty.
  • Leverage comprehensive product knowledge and technical selling skills to effectively present Silversea’s luxury cruise products and services.
  • Achieve set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets consistently.
  • Handle a heavy sales workload efficiently, continuously seeking to optimize the sales process through proactive client interactions.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with decision makers at various levels, both internally and externally.
  • Maximize sales opportunities by closing deals, servicing booked cruises, and identifying upselling possibilities throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Utilize active listening to provide consultative selling and tailored recommendations to prospects and clients.
  • Develop a qualified leads database using referrals, direct mail, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Adapt swiftly to new skills and multitask effectively to maintain peak performance levels.
  • Support sales activities aimed at promoting soft sailings and last-minute inventory.
  • Keep detailed and accurate client records using company-supported technologies and processes.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all company team members.
  • Demonstrate abilities such as building trust, effective communication, executing tasks, fostering innovation, focusing on customer needs, collaborating, creative problem solving, and upholding high integrity.
  • Maintain professional relationships both internally and externally in alignment with company core values.
