Role Overview
We have an opening for a Person in Charge within our Residential Service on a permanent contract basis, working 35 hours per week. The Person in Charge will oversee and coordinate delivery of quality care that reflects our values and ethos—ensuring services are safe, respectful, empathetic, and person-centered, and promote inclusion in community life. The role requires adherence to HIQA standards and relevant regulations.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a BA (Ordinary) in Social Care Practice (Level 7 on the QQI framework) OR registration, or eligibility for registration, on the Intellectual Disability division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI/CORU).
- An appropriate management qualification in health or social care management.
- Current NMBI/CORU registration.
- At least 3 years experience in a supervisory or management role within health or social care.
- A full clean driving license with willingness to drive as required by the role.
