Warehouse Worker & AZ Delivery Driver

Overview

This position combines warehouse and AZ delivery work for a well-known beverage business in Thunder Bay. The role is suited to someone energetic, dependable, and comfortable in a physically active environment. Compensation

The pay rate is $32.16 per hour when you are assigned to delivery duties and $30.63 per hour when you are assigned to warehouse duties.

Schedule

The workweek runs from Monday to Friday.

Warehouse Duties

• Pick customer orders using an automated voice-directed picking system.
• Construct pallets that are stable, secure, and accurate.
• Handle products weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Carry out tasks safely and efficiently.
• Prepare required reports.
• Follow instructions from the team leader carefully and accurately.

Delivery Driver Duties

• Build strong working relationships with account contacts and represent the company professionally at customer sites.
• Deliver products on time and unload them according to customer direction.
• Process invoices and complete daily settlement of accounts.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to standard in different environments.
• Set up displays and promotional materials such as signs and banners.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Perform all duties safely and in compliance with laws and transportation regulations.

Physical Requirements

• You must be able to lift and carry loads of up to 50 lbs repeatedly during an 8 to 10 hour shift.
• You should be able to move heavy loads manually and with equipment, with the flexibility, strength, and agility needed for the job.
• You must be comfortable working in changing weather and temperature conditions and operating equipment in poor road or driving conditions.

Qualifications

• A valid AZ driver’s licence in good standing with a clean and safe driving record is required.
• You need a High School Diploma, Professional Studies Diploma, or equivalent.
• You should work well in a team.
• You must be physically fit for demanding work.
• Basic writing and math skills are needed to complete paperwork correctly.
• You should be self-driven and able to work with limited supervision.

Preferred Experience

• Forklift or walkie rider experience is an advantage.
• Previous warehouse experience is also considered an asset.
