The company operates with employees across the US and EU and has been recognized as a Best Place to Work by Built In in 2022, 2023, and 2024 across several national and regional categories.
This position follows a hybrid arrangement, with two days each week spent working from the San Francisco office.
Role Overview
Taskrabbit is hiring a People Technology & Analytics Specialist to act as the architect and operational driver of its data-led people decision-making. Reporting to the Director of Global People Operations, this person will guide the growth of the HR technology stack and help move the team away from manual work toward smarter, AI-enabled automation that creates capacity across People Operations.
This is a high-impact individual contributor position at the P3 level, suited to someone who thinks in systems and wants to help build a scalable, modern people technology environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong curiosity about HR technology, at least 3 years of experience in HRIS or People Analytics, and a mindset that enjoys challenging existing workflows to design better, more automated solutions. Comfort with AI tools and the ability to turn business needs into practical system configurations are important for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full HR technology ecosystem, including Rippling, Greenhouse, Lattice, OpenComp, and Tilt, while keeping integrations and system connections running smoothly.
- Drive the adoption of AI within Rippling and evaluate or pilot new HR AI tools to keep the People function current and efficient.
- Design, build, and maintain sophisticated Rippling workflows for onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle-based triggers that reduce manual effort.
- Create and sustain automated dashboards for headcount, attrition, and manager effectiveness so leadership has timely visibility into key metrics.
- Serve as the main owner of HRIS data quality by running regular audits and enforcing strong data governance practices.
- Handle compensation-cycle data extraction, analyze employee engagement trends, and support ad hoc reporting needs for strategic decisions.
- Lead vendor selection efforts, including RFPs and contract discussions, while keeping the People team’s tool roadmap organized and current.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in HRIS, People Analytics, or a related HR technology function.
- Hands-on experience with Rippling is strongly preferred, along with familiarity with Greenhouse and Lattice.
- Advanced ability to create technical dashboards and build highly customized reports.
- Practical knowledge of AI-driven features and a strong readiness to apply AI within SaaS tools.
- Solid understanding of how HRIS, ATS, and performance management systems exchange and sync data.
- Strong analytical discipline, including the ability to merge complex datasets and audit large volumes of data accurately.
- A systems-oriented mindset with interest in simplifying and improving workflows through automation.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this role is USD 105,000 to USD 160,000. This range reflects base pay only and does not include bonus or benefits. Final compensation may differ based on factors such as experience, qualifications, location, and level.
Taskrabbit’s total compensation approach includes base salary, bonus, benefits, and perks. Benefits vary by country of employment.
Why Work Here
- The company offers a hybrid work model that balances flexibility with regular in-person collaboration.
- You will work alongside supportive, talented, and kind leaders and teammates.
- The organization prioritizes diversity and believes stronger decisions come from a workforce that reflects the communities it serves.
- US employees receive employer-paid health insurance and a 401(k) match with immediate vesting.
- Global employees receive generous flexible time off, two company-wide closure weeks, product stipends, wellness, productivity, and education stipends, IKEA discounts, reproductive health support, and more.
